A full cycle uses up to 10 billable OpenAI API calls, possibly including paid web searches. GPT-5 mini API billing is separate from your ChatGPT subscription.

Activation needed before first run
In Cloudflare Pages → Settings → Variables and Secrets, set two encrypted production secrets: OPENAI_API_KEY (your OpenAI Platform API key) and BLUE_LOTUS_RESEARCH_TOKEN (your own random 24+ character access token). Redeploy afterward. Never paste keys into GitHub or this chat.

After secure HTTPS hosting is configured, Android Chrome can offer Install app or Add to Home screen. The icon will open BLUE LOTUS without the normal browser toolbar.
Data & privacy
Never enter API keys into this app. To transfer notes between devices, export a JSON backup and import it on the other device. This does not sync or update the evidence database.

Blue Lotus supports live ten-step GPT research cycles through a protected Cloudflare Pages endpoint once the API key and access token are configured.
